Julie began her career in 1995 with an international staffing firm and was fortunate enough to work for several industry pioneers – women with expert leadership skills who provided her with ample opportunity to learn, explore and grow her career.
In 2000, Julie, along with her father and sister founded J2T. 17 years later and still a family business, Julie considers all the members of the J2T organization as family (many of whom have been with J2T 10+ years), and believes deeply that people are our biggest asset and as such, works diligently to align the company and herself with people and organizations who share in that value.
Julie is proud to be a Denver native and graduate of CSU (go Rams!) and completed the Entrepreneurial Master’s Program (EMP) from MIT (2005-2008) with a class of 60 founders/owners from 14 countries. Equally at home in the city and mountains, Julie splits her time between her beloved Denver, CO, and Bozeman, MT.
Julie’s biggest loves outside of family are: fly fishing (salt and freshwater), tennis, golf, hiking, and as many friends as she can pack around her kitchen island and dining room table. She accomplished her first grand slam (permit, bone fish and tarpon all landed same day) in May of 2016, has traveled extensively, loves dogs and has a love affair with her 3 nieces and 1 nephew who are quick to say “YES” to fun, so she orchestrates it as often as possible while they still think she is cool.
